Adopting from Vietnam!
Bob and Pat Steele are parents to two
grown daughters and three kids they have adopted from Asia. Their family
includes daughters from China and Vietnam, and a Son from Thailand.
Out of the blue, their Vietnam adoption agency emailed information and photos of a special little girl named Thao Anh, who needs a loving family. She has developmental delays and physical special needs that will require much therapy and prayer, and it is not known how much progress she will be able to make. Bob and Pat's daughter from Vietnam has multiple disabilities and they have been able to get much help and support for her, and she is making great progress. This agency, "Asian Children Services," has faith in this family's ability to help Thao Anh as well.
Since this adoption is unplanned and sudden, it has caught the Steele family unprepared for the burden of expense involved in bringing this little one to their home. They tentatively expect to travel to Vietnam in August, if their paperwork is processed by the U.S. government soon.
